Hen pheasant flymph
I was given a hen skin last week and the feathers were beautiful so I wanted to try a feather out as soon as the skin cured. I changed out my thread after the tail for some Hend quill olive and I was hoping it would show through the dubbing a little better. Next time I’ll go lighter with the dubbing .

Re: P & O. using Morus silk 6b
So I probably made the mistake of choosing 6b and not 6a. Thanks for the feedback fellas.

Re: “Dr No”
Thanks guys for the positive reviews. It’s a dark, cold and rainy day here
and I’d rather be listening to a calypso band with Ursula somewhere else.
Happy Thanksgiving regardless.

Re: Morus
letumgo,
Hot orange and primrose. I have Pearsall’s but I wanted to check this out so
I could decided whether to recommend it to people who want to give the
classics a try. I think I would recommend it though I haven’t tied a lot with it
But the little I have I find it quite similar to Pearsall’s.

Morus silk thread
Got a few spools of Morus gossamer silk in the mail yesterday and tied up a few “Snipe & Purples” tonight. I was pleased with it.
