Re: Wet Fly DVDs

Willowhead! That would be a forfeit of a perfectly good reason to go two months in a row! Did my wife put you up to make that suggestion? Who side you on? I'm still hoping "someone" will take me up on this "idea"! FliTrap P.S. This post is a blatant effort to hijack a thread, in ...

Re: Wet Fly DVDs

For just a few dollars more then the DBD, you can fly into St Louis for the Ozark Fly Fishers' all day program with Davy, (02/18/12)! Then... drive across the State of Missouri, fish the Trout Parks or try your hand at Tannycomo, a Power Dam type tail waters. Stretch the trip, by dropping South from...

Re: What is a "set"

WillowHead, Yes, there is a retreat in Arkansas on a yearly bases! Their first was a retreat shared with Missouri, some 8-9 years ago! That would have been the 3rd one I lent a hand in, as a River Helper! The person you noted (Sue!) in a good friend of ours, there in VT, and is still supporting CFR,...

Re: What is a "set"

In dealing with CFR, John P. has it spot on, that a CFR event has 14 women or participants. As I once (for a two year period, two years ago!) was the coordinator / equipment manager for all of CFR, I can advise on how donations of flies were managed back then! At each event, there are 14 participant...

"Parts of hides" are far cheaper!

Re: Material Supplier !!

MD! Not sure what side of your state you live and, as noted, there are a lot of great shops that can help with material! That said, you may look into Feather -Craft, out of St Louis ( http://www.feather-craft.com ). While their store / mail order can do you for most material needs, I hear tell there...
