Geert ties some wonderful flies. He also ties some beautiful little soft hackles. I befriended him years ago in the Classic Flies subsection of the Fly Tying Forum. He sent me a beautiful framed collection of soft hackles. He is a very generous and genuinely friendly person.

One of my favorites for the all the holding ponds here in Florida. When I was in Central Oregon our fly club would do an annual trip to Kamloops area in Canada. This was one of the go to patterns.

Besides a Tups, this is the only other "pink fly" I use. A general soft hackle with salmonberry Pearsall's.

Thank you gentlemen, glad you like them. Lou, yes, seal is an underrated dubbing for keeping a fly up. It does soak up water readily and the courseness when dubbed creates a lot of area to trap air.
