Re: 2021
Wayne, Are you wade fishing or fishing from a boat? Thanks- Ken I am wade fishing. As cold as it has been getting, the flow ice only burns off the rivers for about 2 to3 hours on the warmest days. Not enough time to float. I do not carry a thermometer, but I was told the water temps are 37 F.

Re: Upstream Wet Fly
I've fished hard with that rod for almost three years... its the cheaper version...and had no issues at all...its landed 18" fish from the Box Canyon stretch of the Henry's Fork, good fish from the Madison, Deschutes, Yakima and others... I have two friends who also fish with this rod and not ...

Re: Upstream Wet Fly
dubbn its an 8 piece....LOL are you jealous? 😂😂😂😂 I do not have alot of good things to say about Cortland Competition rods. Four trips with it, 3 breaks. After the 3rd break, I asked Cortland to refund my money. The worthless turds would not have anything to do with that. https://i.postimg.cc/T1g39...

Re: Upstream Wet Fly
Wayne - I always like the fact you form your own options (contrary or otherwise), based on your experience fishing wet flies. Like a fish, you often “swim against the current”, but that is a good thing IMO. Keep swimming, my friend. ;) I have never been able to out fish friends, family, and neighbo...

Re: Upstream Wet Fly
Wayne - I’d be interested in hearing your leader setup. I just finished making up a half dozen of Davy’s leader setups, complete with droppers. I’m looking forward to tangling them all up this spring. :o :? :D  Honest? For designated upstream fishing of wets, I believe tags are counter product...

In my opinion, Wotton has over thunk the leader system. Yep, "thunk" is my new word.
