Nothing like a nice morning fry. It's standard fare on our visits to Ireland and can easily hold you up until tea (or Guinness time) if you are on your feet or touring somewhere. Good tea is essential. Barry's, readily available here in the States, is excellent and is our "house" tea here ...

Yes, those larger bobbins are a pain. I've found that judicious use of needle-nose pliers to re-shape the shorter bobbins works well. I've done it on a couple bobbins & use those for the YLI & Kimono silk spools.

Even Pearsall's did not stick with their "original colors". Subtle changes were made over the years. The silks available from YLI & Kimono are close enough to Pearsall's colors to not make any difference at all. Close enough is good enough in horseshoes, hand grenades ...and Pearsall's...

Here we've been working hard attempting to "match" Pearsall's original colors & they haven't even been doing it themselves.
Close enough is good enough, even in Horseshoes & Hand Grenades … and Pearsall's colors.
