I love the DHE. It's one of those patterns that works all season for me, I just vary the sizes; the smaller the better. If I could tie that down to a #20, I could rule the world. Nice tie, Norm.

As REE said, Maine winters can be annoyingly long. They usually last about 8 months, followed by three months of cold, and then August. That fly is gorgeous! I picked up my first spey rod a while back, a year or so ago, and this pattern looks like a great addition to my new spey flies box. Looking forward to the new book!
