That same spirit of generosity always came through in his emails and the notes he would send up. I never got to meet him in person; the closest thing was a phone call we shared a few years ago. I still wander back through his site all the time!

I know Norm's pattern refers to General Joseph Hooker, but having just come from a thread where Doug uses the words 'love' and 'sassy' in the same sentence, my head went somewhere else. So, when Norm writes General Hooker, I saw general hooker; you know, as opposed to a specific hooker. Anyway. Nice...

Man, that is beautiful. In my next life I want to come back and be able to tie married wings like that. It's the Christmas version of a Parmachene Belle.
