Re: Silk Color

I don't remember where I saw it (I'm old, gimme a break), but someone did a nice photo story of silk colors, both wet and dry, and waxed and not waxed. Wish I could remember where that was. Knowing the color shifts helps immensely.

Re: Ruz-Du

Thank you, Norm. When I started to check on it, I discovered my library was short a book. Much appreciated.

Re: Leisenring for sale

My $22 copy of "The Book" arrived today. I don't think it's ever been read. There is some slight damage to the paper cover, but the spine is still stiff, as if it's never been opened. Seems like someone bought it and stuck it on a shelf. It's in much better shape than my $50 copy.

Re: Ruz-Du

Beautifully dressed, Norm. I'm curious to know if the original pattern was dressed with silk thread. Looks like I need to look that one up.

Ray, you never cease to amaze me!!!!!! Footnote - I couldn’t help but notice that your FLymph Forum mug includes a teabag of the twinings variety. Do yourself a favor and get yourself some Barrys Gold – you’ll never go back! 😀😀 Saw your suggestion and gave Barry's Gold a try. You were correct. Very...

Really nice, Bill. I can see this in quite a few colors as well. Going to be a busy winter.

Re: Leisenring for sale

Good on ya, Ron. I thought of bidding, but I have it, and at somewhere between 800 and 1,000 books on trout fishing I need to cut back. Then, there are the food books and the books on guns, hunting and bird dogs. I have the same addiction Fishing, guns and food, not necessarily in that order, depen...
