Re: Rabbit Dubbing
Caucci and Nastasi came up with a spectrumized rabbit dubbing that is a great pre-mixed blend. The colors cover almost everything and it's easy to hand card or mix with other furs like Roadkill mentioned. It's fun to blend your own stuff but this is fast and simple when you are looking for small bat...

Re: Left & right wings
What Bob said.. I too got stuck with a set of left wings. The last set of mallard wings I ordered were a left and right set but they were NOT a matched pair. The size difference made them useless and almost impossible to match slips with the same texture. There's no way I would spend $$$ on somethin...

Our rivers are loaded with slush and shelf ice the last few days so the boat will remain in the garage And thanks for that fluffy lake effect stuff you ...

A chironomid on a size 10 2xl is huge

Re: Spun body nymph
https://montana-riverboats.com/?robopage=Flies/Polly-Rosborough/index.htm Thanks for the link Bill-that was awesome. I especially like the wading shoes he is wearing: converse sneakers without laces, tied at the top. Priceless! Dana I noticed the converse sneakers too.... and hi-tops at that. Bill,...

I have a Conover that Bill gave me at FlyFest '19.
It's in my collection with some of Wulff, Dette, Betters, and Gartside's ties.
Priceless to me

That is cool!
Does melting the chenille add any weight or density to the fly?
They hang very low in the drift when they become dislodged.
Mike, Bacon fixes everything.
