WOW... That looks nothing like the hair wing Mick Finns I learned to tie a lifetime ago.
Nice job on those married slips!

DUBBN
Where did you find that bleached mole or did you give the skin a bath?
Mike over at Badger Creek had bleached and dyed mole years ago but I haven't seen any since.

Roadkill wrote: Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:42 am 8-) What breed of dubbing rake are you raising? ;)
A huge Longhorn with some of the biggest dubbing spurs I ever saw.
Foghorn with a bad attitude but he did protect his girls.

Re: Fox 'n Hen Flymph

I really like the first one with the badger hackle but I had to cringe when I saw Fox 'n Hen.
Yours looks so much better than the carnage I occasionally find in my chicken coop.
With all the feathers and fur on the ground, I think the old rooster actually enjoyed rippin' into some fox butt.

That plate would look great framed... and a theme for a future swap.
Thanks for sharing that.

There is a new copy on eBay now for $26.95 + $4.95 shipping.
I find that it is almost always easy to beat amazon pricing.

Not anymore.
It's on my coffee table.
Thanks, that filled one more hole in my "Catskills Collection"
Still looking for that elusive Darbee.
