Guys,
I thought some of you might like this reference materials, especially those of you who are not in the UK. THis is a small publication put out some time ago on Spider Patterns, materials and instructions.
I don agree with the diagram on page 7. You should try and tie the hackle in ahead of making the body. That the way it was done years ago.
Anyway, I hope someone gets benefit out of it:

Looks like great material. Can these be rotated so you can read them easier? I tried to do that in Open Office, but I don't see how to with the Writer program.

I thought I recognised that booklet. I have copied the version just given, cropped, rotated and made a PDF.
I shall send you a copy Kelly.

FOR THE MAC:
*open up Iphoto
* open a new album
* place cursor on the photo of the post and drag it to my desktop (I only do one page at a time so I have more control)
* drop the image into Iphoto album
* dump the desktop file into the trash.
Once all the pages (images) were in the new album I hold down Command A, clicked edit, clicked rotate and there it is, a perfect little book on spiders.

How about copies of manuscripts, would that turn you on Doug?
