Fun Morning

Post by DUBBN » Fri Dec 18, 2015 4:42 pm

Fun couples of hours today. Fish kept moving away from the trout emerger (huevos). I ended up taking it off. Went with Olive Or Black RS2 variations in 20 and 22, and any mysis. Caught quite a few the last hour. An old guy came by and snapped a photo of me and the last fish I caught. 2 hours, I may have hooked a dozen and landed 7. Oh yeah. Hooked a few Brookies in the 10 to 12 inch range.

DUBBN, Howdy;

Good to see you are getting back into the swing of things once again.
Also, good to see your ever smiling face and a decently sized trout in
your grasp.

Happy Holidays from the both of us!

I've missed seeing pictures of your hat. :D

PS - Give me a call, if you need someone to hold your net. ;) :D

Holy Cow! Those are some gorgeous fish!!! Healthy and spectacular color. I'm glad to see you getting out again, but I wish you had kept the snow. It arrived here yesterday. We have Lake Effect snow warnings all day. Some areas could get a foot of snow.

What did you use for the eyes on your mysis shrimp? Is that rubber leg material?

Much happy for you, Wayne. It has been a long time coming.

Another thing that I've used for mysis eyes that works is .020 mono, burned gently at the ends. Also, a small hunk of .020 lead with black paint applied to the ends.

Wayne, won't the damp waders hanging in the garage with the damp spot under them be a tip off ???
