WOW! What a buggy looking fly. I definitely need some of these in my steelhead box.

Is the Black bead reversed on purpose? Nice effect ...

Thanks. Someone else mentioned that about the bead (I hadn't noticed it). I went back and checked the others in the bag and they were all drilled with the same-sized hole on both sides; not sure if it was intentional or a defective batch.

I tend to reverse the beadhead when I tye Skip Morris's "Racoon" pattern. It pushes the bead forward slightly and I like the look. Not sure if it changes how the fly behaves, but I still do this intentionally.
