I forgot some other interesting stats! The abdomen is 2/3rds the length of the body. The thorax is 1/3 the length of the body. The tail length is approx. 1/2 the body length! I find that this is a bit long for my liking. I sometimes substitute some partridge fibers and make them a tad shorter. It really dresses things up. Sorry Dave W.!

More junk from my trunk. I have marching headlong into Red Fox Squirrel Hair Nymphs! The latest ones have been tied on swimming nymph hooks. These are my favorite! I have to admit that in the two patterns that I tied and posted earlier (above) without the furry and fuzzy head! Since then, they've had this important appendage!
