Oh wow! Thank you very much for the fishing yarn link. Looks like it is all Jaimesons Spindrift yarn, just in a cheaper option. Very cool!

Bill (wsbailey) - I just put in an order for a bunch of the Jamieson's yarn from the website you mentioned. I look forward to playing around with the different colors, once it comes in. Thanks for the link. ;)

As you can see, the Red Tailed Hairy Carey is very effective on smallmouth bass.

Ray,
Excellent SBS on all fronts! You have made (and make) good use of a very useful bird skin, the ring-necked pheasant! The Hairy Carey and the Fleeing Crayfish are excellent patterns and you have tied them quite well as you always do! Both patterns are excellent Smallmouth getters (sorry, don't have much experience on the Steelhead side of things!)! I am always on the hunt for the ultimate crawfish pattern and I may have found it in yours! I have the Trout Magnet jig heads somewhere behind me and practically all the other materials involved in it's construction! I appreciate the link to the Jamison's yarns (Bill) and I will be looking into these very soon!
An all around excellent Tutorial/SBS Ray! You have become a master in publishing these! This one should go into the Hall of Fame! Thank you for posting and updating this post!
From a Smallmouth fisher and Steelhead wannabe,
