A few changes to the back end of Bram Van Houten's Deer Hair Emerger.


hook – Dai Riki 135 #14
thread - MFC 8/0 sand
underbody - medium tinsel opal
rib - turkey biot callibaetis
shellback - 1mm foam tan
hackle - Mearn's quail (any well-marked feather works)
wing - deer hair
thorax - CdC tan

Scott - This looks like a very challenging pattern to tie (looks like an 11 on the difficulty scale). :D Can you offer any tricks/tips?

Top shelf tying, as always. I'd fish that with confidence. ;)
