Ray ~ The thread on this fly is Pearsall's Gossamer #10 ash, although the recipe in the book reference that Carl sent to me calls for darkly waxed #9a grey.

William and Bill,
I am stunned at how beautiful each of your patterns are! They both are real fish catchers and some beautiful photo's from each of you would be super-duper. Please include also the fish that took the patterns no matter what the girth.
