Hook- 3906B #12 with 1/8 brass bead head
Tan Tying Thread
Body- dubbing from Brown, Beige, Yellow, Light Yellow and Natural Aunt Lydia's Rug Yarn
Wing- 1 strand of 3 strand Brown Aunt Lydia's Rug Yarn (tapered on the ends and folded about 1/2 way along the side of the body)
Hackle-1 Turn of Whiting Brahma Hen Saddle dyed Golden Straw
Dubbing behind Bead Head- blend of AL's yarns in Brown , Gold, and Wood Brown

Bill, that short length of yarn to each sir is a convincing pupa detail that doesn't veer into the "bits and pieces" representation. I'll save this one as something to fuss with. With or without a bead it should be a great emerger.

William,

I will tie these yarn wing caddis emergers without the bead but probably with a wire rib on the abdomen just to keep down a little on the swing in bigger waters. (Fl. Chartreuse for the Rockworm and Gold on the Spotted) A couple of weeks ago indicator drift fishing was the ticket on the Metolius and the Middle Deschutes, these will help fill some gaps in my fly coverage. I think my regular flymphs will do the damp imitations well enough. Their BH larva are next up on my bench. ;)
