Excellent tying as per usual, Scott. Pattern utilizes a nice combination of very attractive materials, giving the illusion of movement and a tasty meal for a trout.

Does this fly have a history? It looks so classic. Where did you discover this pattern?

I guess it's been around for a while; I've seen references to it dating back 7-8 years. Found it on Phil Rowley's site:
