Wonderfully buggy! I could have used this earlier today. It would have been fun to watch this drift down thru the edge of the foam line...anticipating a strick at any moment... ;)

I love your creations Scott.

oh, man, that thing looks awesome. Nice tie. I didn't know what to expect when I opened this post. That is a serious bug.

ScottP, Howdy;

Beautiful looking mouthful of a fly. Perhaps you could explain to me and
perhaps a few others what is it that makes it a "Jingled" any type of fly?
I'm not trying to be picky, I'm just not that familiar with the term.
Thanks for your take on the matter.

Hank,

First found Jinglers on some U.K. sites - basically a mayfly dry with a soft hackle (usually partridge) wound in front of the standard hackle for extra bugginess. Figured I'd try it on a caddis just to see how it looked.

Regards,
Scott

ScottP, Howdy;

Thanks for the answer. Reason I asked is it looked very much like some of
the "Bumbles" or Palmer style that the Irish favor for Lough fishing.

Thanks again for the answer,
