Nice! Very nice! You have a gift for proportions and color combinations. A constant source of inspiration...

Question- Do you tie in the hair wing as two separate bundles, or one bundle that gets split?

On a side note, I was catching trout last weekend on a similar fly. The one I was using had a wing of snowshoe rabbit foot fur. It was one of Tim Didas (tjd) creations. Very effective fly. Unfortunately I eventually decorated one of the trees with my only copy.

(pst...Tim...I need another fly...kidding)

Superb tutorial, as always. Thanks for taking the time to share the tying sequence. It's a treat to see the underlying construction.

Ray,

You're always welcome to raid my fly boxes...not kidding! That pattern would have made a good imitation of the Hexagenia flies that we say hatching.

Best,

Tim

Super nice fly, I think it would benefit from a nice klinkhammer hook though!

Wonderful! Really like the color combination. Simply a great looking fly!
