An Irish lough pattern; found this Green Peter/Doctor fusion on Claretbumbler.


hook - Mustad 3906 #8
thread - Danville 6/0 black
tag - Danville flat wax flame red
rib - oval tinsel gold
body - olive dyed hare's ear
body hackle - brown (undersize by 1)
wing - red, yellow, blue bucktail
hackle - brown

This pattern cries out, "Over here, come and get me!" A beautiful pattern Scott and as always, so well constructed!

I'm really enjoying your Irish loch patterns.

As a side note, I had a gould laugh when I read the name "Green Peter". It struck me as a humorous name for a fly. I wanna see the look on someones face when you tell them your using a "Green Peter" to entice the fish. :shock: :D :lol: :lol: :lol:
