A vintage Adirondack lake pattern originally tied to represent a moth. Made a few changes to the original; swapped out the white chenille body for herl and mallard tail/wing for wood duck, just for a slightly different look.

hook - Dai Riki 280 #12
thread - Danville 6/0 red
tag - floss (1/2 strand) red
tail - wood duck flank
rib - small wire gold
body - peacock herl bleached
hackle - hen brown
wing - wood duck flank

Regards,
Scott

Impressive tie. The wood cock flank and brown hen set off the bleached herl very well
