What a tasty little morsel. Grouse and claret are two of my favorite materials.

Is that a Sneck hook? Cool iron, what ever it is.

That's a great looking fly. I'm trying that on a trout soon.
I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...

That is one awesome pattern and so well tied! I love the vintage hook that you have tied it on! You should frame this one!
