I was thinking the same thing, Mike.
I miss Alan and Small Stream Reflections.
DUBBN, What did you use for the green body?
At first I thought it was tightly corded thread for a ribbed effect but now I'm not so sure...

Rick, you have a keen eye. The thread is corded up. It is Veevus B14.

I did not share a lot of dialogue with Alan (BrkTrt). I do see where these patterns could be interpreted as his style. To me that is a major compliment. Alan could tie circles around me with his eyes closed.

Mike, Rick, thank you for the compliment.

Wayne, I steal so many of your ties it's not even funny. You don't tie like Alan, you tie like Wayne; and it's awesome. Alan, for me, was a bellwether. like many here, they had a symbiotic relationship with Bill Shuck. I had much the same with Alan. He kept me going when I was ready to quit. I only had the briefest interactions with Bill before he got away, but those emails were warm and honest and full of encouragement. Alan provided the same to me for years. I miss them both.

Keep tying, Wayne; you rock.
