I live in Toledo, Ohio, on the Western end of Lake Erie. We've had this type of thing fairly often. If you want to use the ATMs you have to brush them away so you can see the keys. Business owners use snow shovels to shovel them away from store entrances. I'm not kidding. They will cling to your hair as you walk (not too much of a problem with me). Not the place for someone who has a fear of bugs. This only happens in areas of the city near the shoreline, not in the 'burbs. Can be quite a bother.
