Traditional Dapping on Scottish Lochs

Post by Donald Nicolson » Wed Sep 26, 2012 1:52 pm

I have been rummageing around among my large and very untidy collection of data CDs and I found an article on dapping in Scotland. The origin was on a long lost BB, but I had copied it for future reference. I have tidied it up a bit and converted it into a .pdf File.
If anyone wants a copy drop me an e-mail at :-
dnicolson75@o2.co.uk

It is the best description of the technique I have ever read.

Hi

That would be a great read. Most likely I will try Loch drift technique in October here in Sweden.

Donald, Howdy;

Thanks very much for sending the file.
It may come in handy on some of the lakes
in New Mexico... will have tosee how some
of the warmwater species like it.
Thanks again.

Dapping is something that never really caught on here, maybe even shunned....... but, heck, I'm a bit of a renegade when it comes to fly fishing here...... please pass me on a copy Donald. 8-)
