Thank you for the further information Ruard.
The only time I have fished for Rudd, in Northern Ireland, in a stocked pond. They seemed very much to have a holding/feeding level of depth and if you were not bang on it- you didn't catch.
Very interesting and diverse compared to fishing for trout in moving water here and requires a whole other level of math to have a fun day. :D

Ruard, this is really wonderful to see. Thanks so much for sharing your particular angle. =).

It's a very different approach from my own and it's great to get a glimpse at your outings. Of course a sharp bend in your hand crafted cane rod has a universal appeal. Beautiful shots.

It is a good thing to "catch a glimpse" into your fish and method of fishing for them. You live in a wonderful place...I think you know that already! I cannot wait to meet you this summer! I have much to learn and enjoy!
