This is the pattern I will submit for our ongoing swap (Pretty in Pink).

Note about dubbing blend: The body is dubbed with a special dubbing blend that was created by a Nick Pionessa. The blend is a fifty-fifty mixture of hot pink and hot yellow yarn, which has been chopped up and blended together. It looks like an intense grapefruit colored tups blend. Really nice stuff. Thanks Nick!
I can't wait to fish this guy! I don't have a picture, but I'm submitting a White Biot Sighter Spider for the 'pretty in pink' swap. I should be mailing them out tomorrow, but I may hold off since Ron's gonna be on the Left Coast for a week.

Regardless, I am inspired by this pattern. I don't have any dun Hungarian Partridge, but I do have some starling. I figure that'll work. I don't have $50 laying around - I already spent it in the fly shop last week :)

Lovely tie, Ray. It's like a Tup's that spent too much time in the sun. Nicely done!

That's funny, Mike
I first thought it looked like the Conover pattern that Bill Shuck tied.
Can't wait to see that in hand Ray!

Now that you mention it, it does remind me of Bill’s Conover Flymph. Sweet!
