Jim Wynn has quite a few flies with red in them.

There is a book with the flies of Jim Wynn, but I have also a pdf witch I can send you if you like it.

Don't know about established patterns, John, but I would fish yours in a heartbeat.

There is a spider called Black Magic that utilises red holographic tinsel as a secret ingredient.

John, that's a beaut. I haven't tied with red ribbing but I can certainly see the draw. Something to try.

What hooks are these typed on? Love the proportions and hook bend.

I too enjoy using the Sulky/Gutterman tinsels. They withstand quite a bit of abuse as far as tinsel goes.
