Here is my version of a Tups and Partridge spider.
It was a bugger to get the ram to stand still whilst I took a few cuttings from around his nuts and the neighbors spaniel will never look the same with its new haircut!
No, just bs, this fly was only possible thanks to Ray ( letumgo)
Love both fly fishing and fly tying, been doing it for a while
But not much good at either

Well done Barry. Ray's a master trimsman. I bet that ram never even realized he had been groomed. He's just that good. :D

Barry,
Your pattern is awesome! I tied about a dozen of these (slightly different from yours and not nearly as good looking) years ago and thus, I have lost most of them and given away the balance! You have given me yet another pattern to add to the long list on my bulletin board! Have you fished it?
Funny story about harvesting the Tups fur....

Barry,

I'm all smiles, as I saw your post. I'm happy you made such quick use of the dubbing. You've done a great job on the fly (nice propositions and attention to details).

Give this pattern a swim, and I think you will be happy with the results.

Have fun!
