The hackle looks really good from what I can see, especially for jackdaw, but you need to crop the photo some to enlarge the image.

Thanks Ray.I am working hard at learning to tie North country flies and aquiring the materials.So far it has been great fun.

I think that is the ultimate compliment! Only thing better, might be the "endorsement" of a trout pulling on the end of your line.
