Great fly, nicely dressed. I tie them in orange and primrose, usually in a 14.

After watching Rob Smith's YouTube video, I just had to tie a few of Pritt's Water Crickets. I think it's one of the prettiest flies I've ever tried to tie. Have never fished a Water Cricket, but "hopefully" will be able this year!

Those look great Bob but I would never want to tie up as many as that as
they would undoubtedly keep me up all night !😳

Recently, I've decided that when I tie spiders that I'd try to do 12 - 18 of each dressing, figuring by the time I got done, the last few would look pretty decent!

Bob, The watercricket with a waxed primrose body is a killer when BWOs are about. I tie them on a Daiichi 1640, size 14. That 2XS shank is just about perfect for a wee blue wing.
