This photo made me do a double take! Loved it. Quite funny. That ones needs to be in a book. You must eat a lot of fruit is all I can say! Your photos are top notch too. Awesome work.

Lance, the tier in the photo, the person working on his first-ever attempt to tie a fly (for a special occasion), is the late Alan Bramley.

Alan was the owner and ceo of the (then) leading hookmaker firm Partridge of Redditch.

PS The Polish fly hook I referenced earlier in the thread was an Alan invention, where he sent out samples to friends on April Fools - it is a normal shaped hook with an eye at one end, a point at the other - so far, so normal - and a barb pointing the other way...

Don't laugh too much folks! This fly will be perfect when we start pushing flies thru the current instead of pulling or leading them thru! Very funny stuff indeed! Please keep us fed!
