Italian mountain fly...
Silk body, hares thorax, and hen pheasant hackle.

Alan, Very nice fly. Did you get the Bozzolo silk? It's really hard to source here. Finally got some from a shop in Canada. The similarity between some of the Japanese Kebari and the Valsesiana flies is remarkable, yet developed half a world apart.

Your right on the availability of those Italian silks. I was able to get the orange and purple.

The two styles of fly Tenkara and Valsesiana are a tribute to simplicity and effectiveness.

Agreed. Very similar to a Sekasa Kebari. Simple. Effective flies. A pleasure to tye and fish…
