Very nice roadkill, please for give my ignorance, is the windowpane feather from the shoulder or the rump? Also is this a natural color or dyed? Thanks for posting this pattern, Mike.

The natural-colored feathers are below the Coppery Brown feathers and toward the rump.

Marvelous pattern Bill. I read the name and was expecting an adaptation of a grey ghost streamer, but was pleasantly surprised to see this beauty. Nice use of muskrat fur and glass beads to create the segmentation/aura. Bet it looks even nicer wet.
Very well done.

That's a cool looking fly. I had to look at the body a few times and re-read the dressing for it. I have to say using clear beads like that for the body is different, but I don't get out much.
Either way, I like it. But wouldn't all those beads make it sink too deep? Rookie question.

Checking online, my 7 glass beads may add about .070g of weight to the fly, or about half the weight of a 1/8" copper bead head (.145g)

God, I hate that hook, but you make it look really good. That's a very intriguing pattern, I may have to steal it.
That hook is my personal Kryptonite...

I love that hook. It gets a bad wrap as far as losing fish.
