Hook: Tiemco 102Y #15
Thread: Benecchi 12/0, black
Hackle: Starling
Rib: Fine silver wire
Body: Narrow red plastic ribbon taken from a tomato bag, and a single skinny strand of peacock herl from eye, twisted into cord

I like the deep red showing through. Gives the fly lots of character.

From reading it again it looks as if the ribbon and peacock are twisted into a cord.

Nice technque; touch-dubbing with peacock!
Not in this pattern, but yes I do at times - both touch-dub peacock and standard peacock dubbing into a 'noodle'. No joke, just a useful technique, especially when tying #30 Klinkhamer Specials :twisted:
