Awesome! It does have the look of a steelhead fly (just bigger than the size 7 I usually fish). I might need a bigger rod...

Just kidding. This puppy never getting wet! I can't wait to see it first hand.

Hey Ray, glad you like it. Turns out Misako only took one pic.....but not to worry.....it's much nicer in hand than this pic portrays. ;) i think i'll have to try and find a piece of styrafoam or something to stick it into for shipping.....can't think of any other way to do it, and insure it won't get messed up. Although.....what could really happen that some steam couldn't fix? But why put it to the test? So i'll get it off to you asap. mark

Nope. I've only tried steaming peacock herl before. Works wonders to refresh older herl. All the little fibers stand up out nice and plump.

Ray, i got your fly ready for mailing.....i stuck it in a plastic cup from a hotel, with some tissue inside.....Misa saves EVERYTHING. We prolly got 6K bars of soap round here..........Now you may have to "Primp" it a bit after arrival.....it'll prolly get a bit crunched..... :? But i'll tye ya a better one in the future, and hopefully be able to just hand it to ya.....save some postage. 8-)
i'm gonna try and figure out how to mail the fly, the hooks, and the book, (your gonna dig the book), all in one package when i get to the post office.....the lady there is used to me always askin' for help with crazy mailings. So she comes up with some good ideas sometimes. i hate to have crap like boxes and bubble wrap and all that junk around the house takin' up space. That's what the post office is for. Change your own oil.....HELL no, that's what jiffy lube is for..... :D plumber, carpenter, lectrician, etc., etc., why you think we gotta yellow pages. So anyway.....hope it all gets there by Christmas..... ;)
