Swap suggestion feeler.

Post by fflutterffly » Tue Jun 11, 2013 8:47 am

I think it might be fun to have a swap with the items we received in the "envelop" from Ray. I like to suggest that we tie up any fly design of our own making and submit. What do you think. I'll host with photos of all once the items are all received.

fflutterffly, Howdy;

Sounds like an interesting idea..... would like some definition of just what might be what
or all the recipes would read the same.
Hook; ******* (tyer's choice)
Thorax; Wool/Aussie Possum/other undetermined critter from Middle Earth
Abdomen; different item from Middle Earth (see above)
Hackle/Tail; Mallard or other avian critter from Middle Earth

Should prove to be an interesting collection.

I'm in :lol:

OK, I'm in.
I have a couple of said materials. :)
It could be a truly International swap, as a couple of very talented tiers from The Netherlands also have same materials, or at least some of them.

For anyone wishing to join who was not at Roscoe, or did not get one of the in lieu packs, please PM me and I will make sure you get a small selection so you can join in the fun. ;)

I'd jump in but, due to my absence recently I haven't a clue about what these materials are.. :shock:

Smuggler, Howdy;

Send Mataura mayfly a PM ... he'll send you a package!!!

Or... he could send it to a central location and have someone (me???),
forward out some parcels. Would cut down on his postage fees and he
wouldn't have to spend an entire day filling out Customs forms at the P.O..
ONLY a suggestion..... 8-)

Depending on the due date, I'd like to play. I'll be back in Montana on Friday working for that slave driver, Jim Slattery. :lol: (Jim is the hardest working boss I've ever seen.) The due date is my main concern as I have the materials handy.
