Hackle: Light Brown Speckled Hen
Ribbing and tag: Fine gold wire, counter-wrapped for strength.
Body:3 Brown-gray Ostrich plume herls, tied on by the tips, gently twisted and wrapped.
I don't think we use the softer feathers as much as we should in making bodies. To me, their extra motion adds more life.
