By popular request, I reshot this fly to eliminate the clunky Regal vise head.

That looks like another fly that could be fished as a March Brown or just as a searching pattern.
Nice!

Awhhhhh.... I want the old picture back. :D

Don't let what we say bother you. It is aways said in the spirit of good natured ribbing. You and your "ugly vice" are welcome here.

Thank you once again, Eric. Absolutely perfectly imperfect.

Hey,
I don't look at the vise, but the fly. Nice fly, Eric!

No offense inferred or taken. I realized after the fact that I could shoot the pics just as easily in the test clip -- just needed to find a mount for it.

Nice fly, yep good March Brown there.

I find that using a clip makes it easier to get the camera to autofocus on Macro. NOT that I have ANY photo skills :D

EP where did you put the clip in the end. ?

I put mine in my vise, shhhh

I've got a little fly dryer that has two (empty) adding machine tape spools mounted vertically on a wooden block. I don't use it as a dryer, but it does hold a bunch of tools on my desk. The center of those spools holds a clip perfectly.
