Yellow Mayfly

hook: TMC 101 no 14
thread: Uni 6/0 Lt.Cahill
rib: silvertinsel or black tread
body: Hends body quill BQ-99 (This is yellow)
thorax: yellow rabbit with some yellow lite brite
hackle: yello hen

I tied this fly because Oliver Edwards tells me that there are many in the River Wharfe. With three flyfishfriends I go to the Yorkshire Dales in the last week of May. We stay at the border of the river Wharfe.
The body quill works like thin Raffia. Oliver also said that he fishes the YM on the topdropper, so I choose a light hook.
There will allways be a solution.

Oh, I like these a lot, especially the top one. That silver tinsel just sets it off for me. Nicely tied, Ruard.
