Haven't been any new posts in the past couple of days. Thought I'd throw one in to see if we're still OK.

Rodger,

It is wonderful to see you back at the vice, and behind the camera. I love this pattern! Nice and buggy. I bet this would work nicely on some of you favorite brook trout.

Could you give us the recipe? Is that some of the Fly Tying Dungeon's dubbing blend, or one of your own blend?

Gorgeous photo, by the way. Sharp as a tack and I like way you've composed the image. It looks like it would make a beautiful dust jacket for your upcoming book on soft hackle flies. Long over due, in my opinion. Put me down for a signed first edition. ;) :D

I hope you will keep "testing"the forum with more patterns.

I see a yellow jacket wasp there, and an excellent one to boot. Great test, Rodger! And thanks for jacking up the activity level.

Hey nice looking fly. Looks like a good match for a lot of the medium-sized stoneflies. Be a good freestone pattern I'd bet. Like the way the very dark dubbing in the mix gives the striated effect we see on stoneflies. Izzat a TMC 200R? Is there a dressing for this?...........

Lovely tie Rodger, I must admit I don't visit as much as I used to.. work :)

Seeing this makes me realize I need to become more active again.
