Not sure who Ron is, but he came up with a nice variation on a Carey Special.


hook - Mustad 9671 #8
underbody - .025 non-tox (optional)
thread - Danville 6/0 black
tail - golden pheasant tippet
body - cactus chenille peacock
hackle - pheasant rump
overwing - Krystal Flash pearl

Next time ya see your ol' bud Ron, tell him that that is one good lookin'
fly you put together from his formula. I'd agree that it should work on just
about anything that processes oxygen through gills and dosen't wear it's
house. (crustations ;) )
