lets twist again...

Post by fly_fischa » Sun Nov 26, 2017 8:04 pm

Been meaning to tie some of Will's beautiful twisted herl bodied flies. A friend of mine recently posted a midge soft hackle/flymph using one herl of dark turkey tail and claret pearsalls for the body, his fly reminded me of Will's. I finally sat down and cranked out a bunch, they're such a quick simple tie and look great.
Sz 16 kamasan b440 dry fly hook, pearsalls gossamer purple/claret, hebert miner furnace hen... :D

Incredible! Wet fly perfection.
