Added a wire rib to protect all that naked hackle.

hook - Mustad 3906 #8
thread - Danville 6/0 black
tail - barred woodduck
rib - x-small wire silver
body - tinsel silver
hackle - hen brown/grizzly (fibers stripped off leading edge before wrapping)

The mixed hackle is fantatastic! Love how the colors compliment each other.

Looks like a fun pattern to fish, too.

The hackle work on this one is fantastic! Rays right! A great color combo and expertly laid down! Love the tail too!
