thread - Danville 6/0 black
rib - small wire gold
body - dubbing claret
body hackle - claret (1Tbs Rit wine/1 cup water)
shoulder hackle 1 - red
shoulder hackle 2 - mearns quail dyed faux Jay (Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry 2 packs, 1/4 tsp blue food coloring/1 cup of water)
head - deer hair

Wildly creative fly. The design appears to be be a blend of several successful styles (muddler head, bumble body, Loch flies).

Looks fun the tye, and equally fun to fish.

PS - This fly needs a better name. Something like "Claret Meteor", to capture it's dynamic profile. :D ;)
