Based on Rob Denson's cloaked version; a defined wing and throat would look cool, too.

hook - Mustad 3906 #8
thread - UTC 70 woodduck
tail - bronze mallard
rib - small wire gold
body - dubbing golden olive/ginger
hackle - dyed ginger (4tsp Rit golden yellow, 1/2 tsp Rit Camel/1 cup water)
cloak - bronze mallard

found some suitable hackle at the base of a Charlie Collins saddle; color was a bit lacking (left) for the effect I wanted so I turned up the gain (right).

Currently stoking a love affair with the dabbler design frame. Nice one! Looks like everything. Bet that'd make a good searcher anywhere.
