Partridge Emergers

Size 18, Olive and Tan

I hope I get the chance to try these before Spring run off swells all of the local rivers.

This pattern is a great way for me to use up the larger Partridge feathers that normally are never used.

I will definitely tie some up to size 12

They look simple... but effective. It's amazing what can be done with three materials. Excellent job and I wish I was trout fishing with those.

No Rick, it is some Black synthetic dubbing I have.

Now that you mention it, it does have a Picket Pin look about it.

That's a brilliant idea for large soft hackle, and the fly looks great DUBBN. And if you don't mind, I'll be stealing it too.
