Midge
Hopefully this image will come through. I am still trying to figure out how to attach a photo. This is a midge pattern that I use quite often. Tied on a #19 Gaelic Supreme, body is peacock quill dyed blue, thorax is mole dubbing, starling hackle and thread is Sheer 14/0 purple.

Re: Midge
Good pattern to have. Well done.
#19, and still looks rather big - what vise is this? Just curious.

Re: Midge
That is very nicely done.

Re: Midge
Beautiful fly Otto. I am glad you are posting your fishing flies.
Additional Notes About Photo Posting:
I looked at Bob's post and see that he has used the full web address for the photo (thanks Bob). In your initial posts, you are using the shortened version of the web link. Unfortunately the shortened versions have not been working on our forum. When linking to images in Google Photo, we need to use the longer version of the address (see examples of both below).
Screen Capture Showing Photo Links (top link shows abreviated web address, the bottom link is the longer version which tends to work better on this site / both links should work, but at this point the longer address should be the preferred option):
Thanks Bob for fixing the link. I've gone back and pasted the new link into Otto's first post.

Re: Midge
newriverspey, Howdy;
Otto, glad to see the nose of your seal once again .
Also good to see it has something to chew on and a tasty
morsel it appears to be.

Re: Midge
Where did you get the blue dyed peacock quill? Did you dye these yourself, or do you have a source?
